At The Central Alabama Arts Alliance, our vision is to be the leading organization in Chilton County for promoting and celebrating the arts. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community that values creativity and artistic expression through Visual, Performing, and Literary Arts.

Having already owned land here, Central Alabama Arts Alliance Vice President Russell Lawlis of Lawlis Music and President Deanna Lawlis of The Artsy Bean Studio moved into the beautiful Chilton County Community. We absolutely loved the small town feel, and were (and still are) extremely excited to be a part of its diverse cultural experience. 

With a lengthy history in The Arts, we immediately began searching for a venue for Russell to begin offering Musical Arts to the Chilton County Community, and through persistent steadfastness, within 6 months of arriving here, Russell began teaching Electric, Accoustic, and Bass Guitar at Arts Councils and music stores throughout the surrounding region. I initially began writing as a Community Columnist for the Clanton Advertiser and eventually began teaching Art Classes for children through the surrounding regions Arts Councils. 

Having a passion to invest the Arts into the underserved families of Chilton County, we established The Artsy Bean Studio, offering an array of Visual and Musical Arts to all ages, including everyone, and steadily searched for new opportunities to expand. 

We have sponsored children to participate in Visual and Musical Arts classes. We have collaborated with Small Local Businesses within the Chilton County Community to promote Small Business and The Arts. We have consistently given back into the community through the studio's participation in fundraising events.  

On December 5, 2023, we became 501 (c) (3) Incorporated for the benefit of receiving grants, to offer the Arts programs, lessons, and classes to the underserved community of Chilton County.

The Arts have been our Centered Focus from the moment we've moved into this wonderful community of people, and we are both honored and humbled to be a large part of The Arts in the Chilton County Community, today.

Together, The Central Alabama Arts Alliance, The Artsy Bean Studio, and Lawlis Music have made a significant impact on the local arts community in Chilton County. We have provided accessible cultural experiences to hundreds of adults and children, and contributed to the economic and social vitality of our region. 

We have sponsored many local events such as free paint parties for Seniors, we have participated in various fund raising events for charities within the Chilton County Community, we have made monetary donations to sponsor local children in school and sports functions, we have sponsored children within the Chilton County Community in their participation in Visual and Musical Arts, and we have assisted locally owned business events with free window murals and free face paintings for children and adults.

We also support local, small businesses with our business needs purchases!
